This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.
They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems.

OR Have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise. |

Entry Requirements
- Completion of Year 12, Higher Secondary Certificate, or an equivalent qualification
- Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or above at the time of enrolment
- English Language Requirement: Academic IELTS 6.0 overall, with no band less than 5.5, or
Upper-Intermediate level English, or Successful completion of an EAP course from an approved ELICOS/ESL centre, or evidence of completing a VET course at Certificate IV or above level in Australia. - Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN): Students who do not meet the English language requirements above will be required to complete an LLN Test before enrolment
Course Structure
Total number of units = 10
5 core units plus
5 elective units, of which:
- 3 elective units must be selected from the elective units listed below
- for the remaining 2 elective units:
- up to 2 units may be selected from the elective units listed below
- if not listed, up to 2 units may be selected from an Advanced Diploma or above, from this or any other currently endorsed Training Package qualification or accredited course.
Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.

This course uses a variety of teaching and assessment approaches to support student learning. Learning activities may include presentations, group discussions, demonstrations, individual and team-based tasks, practical skills exercises, role plays, case studies, simulated workplace scenarios, and research activities.
Assessment methods may involve practical task observations, written and verbal questioning, case studies, role plays, reports, research assignments, and presentations.
